OUR SERVICES

  • The most common type of water well is a domestic water source, which provides water for the home and property. Unlike city residences, most rural properties are not connected into the city system and need to locate a water source. The most common type of Well is a 4” to 6” and can range in depth from 18’ to 1000’ depending on location and the local geology.

Did you know that even city residents can have their own water well? As fees continue to go up on utilities, more people are looking for alternative ways to save money. K Drilling has the ability to install a legal water well on the average sized residential lot inside city limits. Some rules do apply. Ask us how!

  • When buying or selling a home with a residential well, it is important to have the well thoroughly tested. In fact, Oregon law requires that a seller conduct a Purity Sample of E.coli, Coliform, Arsenic, and Nitrate. In addition, most lending institutions will require that there is an adequate flow rate and will often require the buyer to pay for a flow test. K Drilling has performed thousands of these tests for buyers and sellers. Call us today to schedule your test!

  • Many well drilling companies will drill wherever a landowner requests, whether there is a water vein at that spot or not. K Drilling offers water location services, using a mix of scientific data, field survey, and geologic conditions to help locate the best possible source of water on the property. This includes the use of a portable fields sensor that allows us to accurately locate a water source.

  • K Drilling has years of experience leading geotechnical investigations. We also have the specific equipment for SPT samplings, and continuous sampling in a wide range of conditions. K Drilling handles the required permitting and paperwork for every customer.

  • When installing pipe underground, or excavating around a building, high water tables can cause difficulty. Through temporary dewatering wells, whether they are well points or deep wells, K Drilling has the ability to lower the groundwater so work can continue. K Drilling has installed hundreds of dewatering wells across a variety of geologic conditions. We also offer emergency dewatering services when it might be critical to quickly lower groundwater.

  • Whether there is a spill, contaminated soil, or the need to check on remediation; installing a monitoring well may be required. At K Drilling, we understand that environmental monitoring and testing requires specific knowledge and licensing. In Oregon, local law requires a Monitoring Well License. K Drilling can install environmental monitoring wells in order to observe environmental impact on the local geology.

  • Wells are often buried and/or forgotten. K Drilling is experienced in legally addressing abandoned wells.
